Lenskart, a tech‑enabled eyewear leader founded in India in 2010, has grown from an online‑only startup into one of Asia’s largest eyewear retailers, operating thousands of stores globally and innovating in both digital and physical retail. As it pursues ambitions to become the “Amazon of eyewear,” the strategy we crafted supported its market entry, audience positioning, and brand narrative across GCC audiences.

Overview
Lenskart is an Indian startup and multinational eyewear company that designs, manufactures, distributes, and retails prescription and lifestyle eyewear through both digital and omnichannel platforms. Its expansion into Singapore and other international markets reflects its ambitious global growth strategy, with overseas operations contributing a significant share of revenue. At YVT Consultancy, we developed a robust marketing strategy aligned with Lenskart’s global vision, supporting its launch in the GCC. Our work included audience research, narrative development, brand positioning, and tactical planning to ensure the brand resonated with regional consumers.

Outcome
The project was very well received and successfully introduced Lenskart’s products to entirely new audiences in the GCC. The strategy enabled seamless collaboration among brand, marketing, retail, and commercial teams, contributing to rapid expansion in the UAE, where Lenskart opened multiple stores within a year and continued growth into the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Strong investor confidence in the company’s trajectory also supported its IPO ambitions, with Lenskart targeting a valuation near $7.9 billion in late 2025, underscoring its position as one of India’s fastest‑growing consumer brand.
