Overview

The TYN Festival was commissioned by the Diriyah Gate Development Authority as part of Diriyah Seasons to celebrate Earthen Architecture and the heritage of At-Turaif, a UNESCO World Heritage site. The festival explored the theme “Earthen Architecture: Build with Innovation” and aimed to reintroduce mud as a sustainable and creative material through an immersive program of exhibitions, symposiums, and cultural activities. YVT Consultancy was engaged to design the festival’s strategic direction, concept framework, visitor experience, and partnership engagement, ensuring it reflected Diriyah’s role as a global hub for culture and heritage.

Outcome

The festival established itself as a flagship cultural platform within Diriyah Seasons, merging innovation with tradition to celebrate local craftsmanship and architectural heritage. YVT Consultancy delivered a holistic experience design strategy encompassing spatial storytelling, curated rooms and installations, and a cohesive programming framework. The result was an integrated visitor journey that connected architecture, community, and contemporary expression.
